     HKA Dojo Programs

         The Hawaii Karate Association offers classes suited to the individual
         who may be taking up Karate training for very specific reasons.

               HKA Dojo's Karate program is designed to challenge the elite
               athlete, while at the same time, allowing individuals to go at their
               own pace for conditioning, fitness, muscular development, or
               for learning techniques and strategies for practical and effective
               self-defense. There are Open Classes and a class for adults.

               HKA Dojo's Kobudo (weapons) classes offer instruction in use
               of the Bo (staff), and Sai (a pair of trident-like, short weapons).
               The Kobudo style practiced is Yamanni-ryu.

               HKA Dojo's "KinderKid Karate" (TM) class is unique in the State of Hawaii. It is a special program
               designed for children, ages 3 to 6, as a primer for formal Karate classes. Children learn mutual
               cooperation, respect, and self-control, through safe and fun exercises that prepare them for Karate
               training. Each student is addressed according to his or her own individual needs.

               HKA Dojo's Competition Team is one of the best in the nation, having successfully competed in
               State, National, and International forums. From 2002 to 2006, over 200 National-level medals
               have been earned by the HKA student-athletes who have participated at that level of competition.
               On the world level, HKA has produced Pan-American Karate Champions and other international
               medalists who have been recognized by the Hawaii State Senate and House of Representatives.

               HKA Dojo's Performance Team has held Karate demonstrations at every major shopping center
               on Oahu, as well as at fitness fairs, cultural festivals, schools, birthday celebrations, graduation
               parties, and other venues. If you would like to have the Performance Team appear at your event,
